Mastermind Groups

Back in 1937 Napoleon Hill developed the concept of peer-to-peer mentoring or ‘mastermind groups’ as they have become known.

Having worked with thousands of organisations around the world, Marla and I realised how many leaders didn’t feel that they belonged to the traditional ‘pale, male, and stale’ business and investment landscape. We were also surprised to discover how many leaders suffer from ‘Imposter Syndrome’. We wanted to create a community where entrepreneurs regardless of background, would say "I really belong here".

QU Community embraces the extraordinary power of diversity, to guide, support, and inspire leaders to increase the value of both their business and personal brands.

We believe that all entrepreneurs regardless of colour, creed, sex, or background deserve an equal chance to succeed.

We assessed many of the mastermind groups, accelerator programmes and executive training products around the world. We identified the best elements of each and added our own ‘secret sauce’ to create QU Mastermind groups.

QU Mastermind Groups use the power of collective intelligence to solve key business challenges (e.g., raising finance, entering new markets, or pitching to win business). Your peer group may have experienced exactly the challenge you are facing. They can share new approaches or simply reassure you that what you are doing works.

If that wasn’t enough, QU will challenge you to build your personal brand by writing your ‘signature talk’ and presenting it to a wider audience as part of the QU Masterclass series.

How QU Masterminds work?

To ensure quality and the best experience possible QU Mastermind groups are limited to a maximum of just 8 members. *

You will meet bi-monthly for half a day. Each session begins with a ‘check-in’ You will report on the progress you have made since the last meeting. One of the core QU principles is the power of accountability. When we share our goals with other people**, the probability of increasing our success rate almost doubles. Sessions progress with expert guest speakers and ‘issue processing’.

You will also be invited to the QU annual conference and have access to an extensive array of checklists, videos, and other online resource.

QU also specialise in business coaching. You can choose from structured, semi-structured or bespoke programmes. You can include coaching as part of the programme or as a stand-alone offering.

If you have a larger team, QU also offers full training workshops. Core topics include finance, strategy, marketing, customer experience (Cx), and culture. You can choose to include workshops as part of the gold package or as a standalone offering.

* All new members are ‘vetted’ by existing members

** The American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) did a study on accountability and found that you have a 65% chance of completing a goal if you commit to someone. And if you have a specific accountability appointment with a person you've committed, you will increase your chance of success by up to 95%.

Peer Group Meetings

In-person ½-day meetings. These sessions include an ‘Issue-process’ where members share solve each other’s marketing challenges. Four per year.

Marketing Masterclasses

Specialist speakers provide updates on latest marketing issues. These sessions are broadcast live and recorded. Members are challenged to develop their own signature talks to present at these masterclasses. Four per year.

Useful marketing templates, book summaries and video content.
